A note to my kind visitors...

If this is your first visit to my site I want to thank you for coming.  I have been working hard to improve it and I hope you find it enjoyable.  If there is anything you would like to suggest please do.  I need input in order to make this more valuable to any who stumble accross it.

ArtFest 2011 is nearly here

This coming weekend, May 7-8 is ArtFest in Springfield, MO.  I will be there with my merry band of woodturners, providing tops and pens for the kids and chatter for the grownups.  This is a chance to meet lots of people and talk a lot of woodturning.  I will be there early Saturday and late Sunday with breaks in between for food, sleep, church and of course, homework.  It will rain because it always rains.  But knowing it a head of time makes it not so bad.   I hope I get to see as many friends as possible.  If you stop by be sure to look for Savanna (my daughter) who might be back from AIT training in the National Guard.  The reason you might want to look for her is she will probably have her pet snake, Arthur.  After all, they haven't missed a Artsfest in a couple years now.
